Stud farm De Zadelhoff – Finecto+ Horse experience

We are a stable and a small breeding farm with only Friesian horses.
Our stable has a total of 15 Friesian horses. In the past there was always a lot of time spent caring for the legs of the horses because the Frisians always suffer from mites and mugs.

One chemical after the other was then taken out of the cupboard to fight (often that ended in weekly treatment and watery eyes with the caregivers). We could never use that for our broodmares and foals because it is harmful for the unborn child and the foal on the foot (licking).

During a conversation with our farmer at the farm (cows / sheep / chickens) he said that he always uses Finecto for the chickens with mite and that it is now also available for horses. A completely natural product with an excellent effect.
I then delved into that and because horse welfare is our top priority, we started using it right away.

Now, a year and a half later, I can tell that the whole shed is virtually mite-free !! We don’t do anything about the socks of the horses anymore (only comb well every day, wash with lukewarm water when we go for a ride) and they no longer suffer from stamping and mugs. Sometimes when we think they are starting to sand with their legs, we use the Finecto spray and stop sanding.

In short; we are very satisfied with the Finecto + Horse product and will certainly continue to use it!

Nowadays also in a discount bucket for sale which reduces costs slightly.
For everyone who owns a Frisian (or Tinker) I would heartily recommend it.
